I was just diagnosed on the mild end of the diabetic screening. My doctors put me on metaformin to try to help reduce my high blood sugar. I bought a meter and a few strips just to see what my blood sugar has been running at fasting. I am getting low on strips and I know that my insurance will pay for meter and strips if I get a prescription. I just don't know if I need to continue to test since I am not on insulin. My readings have been as low as 114 and as high as 179 at fasting. Most of the readings are currently at 150-160 at fasting in the morning (before I have ate). I have reduced sugar in my diet and been taking my mediation.

Should I ask about a script when I go back on Nov. 4, ask sooner, or just not worry about it?

I will have my teaching license for K-6, and I will be adding middle school science content area by competency exam. I am worried about finding my first teaching position. I know that teaching is what I want to do. I have done well in my studies and have substitute taught for over 5 years. Any one have advice on how to get a full time teaching job after school.

I got a Gucci bag for Christmas but I believe it is likely a knock off. Will I be in trouble for owning the purse? My Aunt bought it off line and it does not have a serial number on the back of the tag. It is made of leather and has the correct GG symbol on the material. It is a good knock off I believe.

I have a history of Major Recurrent Depression, past suicide attempt but that was 10 years ago. I am on an anti-depressant that I get prescription assistance for. I can tell my depression is worsening a lot lately. The last couple weeks thoughts but not plans of suicide have been several times a day. I have no clue why I am asking her for advice expect people on her would have no personal motive to tell me that I shouldn't. I have no insurance so going to the hospital or psychiatrist is not an option. I cannot tell my family because if they would call a doctor there is a slight chance of forced hospitalization and massive debt. I guess that is it.

I technically have an account that I have use a total of three times. I have looked around to figure out what the big deal is but have been unimpressed. Am I an alien on a foreign planet or does any one else agree with me. All I hear is Facebook this Facebook that "like it" or what ever.

I just now will be recieving diapers for my 5 year old son though Medicaid. I had no problems getting this approved. I was worried because a lot of people said this was difficult to get approved. I was just curious what others thoughts were on this.

PS: Son is in diapers due to medical issues and congnitive impairments not because we are not working with him potty training.

My son is getting in trouble constantly at head start due to his disability that results in aggressive behaviors if not properly supervised and intervention between him and other students to facilitate communication. We are having an IEP meeting on Thursday to discuss his needs at the developmental preschool. Does head start have to follow all the stipulations in his IEP? If they stipulate an one-on-one aid does Head Start have to provide it even if they do not want to pay for an aide for him? His psychologist says he needs one and so does his teacher. I do not know if we will be able to prove it to the school. (fingers crossed but understand this is extremely difficult even when needed)

Any help would he appreciated.

I have been having problems with fatigue and a little chest pain off and on for about a couple of weeks. Yesterday, I had 3 times that I had server pain in my right leg below the knee but after this incident last night my leg is not hurting at all. Last night about 10pm I had pains in my chest and felt worse than I have in a long time. The pain got so bad I thought I was going to pass out. It lasted about 10-15 mins in its worse state and then I felt tired and nauseated. My family wanted me to do to the hospital but I figured it would just be a way into debt since I have no insurance and it probably was nothing. I figured I just needed rest and so I slept until noon today. I still feel weak and tired but the chest pain is only there if I take a deep breath. Is is too late to go to the hospital? Should I?

I am at wits end right now. I have been trying to get help and has not been working. My 4 year old functionally non verbal child that has limited receptive and expressive speech is making family life about impossible 75 percent of the time. He throws anything and everything at the fan/light fixture, broke a window on himself with a toy, broke my toe, pinches his family members (leaving bloody spots daily), bits until people bleed, hits and kicks leaving bruises on us and him. He does these things also to himself too. He breaks at least one thing a day. He broke the printer today along with a toy car. He throws things at us and the windows. He is strong is almost impossible to restrain for long. I use positive reinforcement with him all the time. I do time outs and everything. I have even spanked him, as a last resort. Somedays I just don't know what to do, I just want to give up:( When he is sweet, he is a treasure. I love him so much but don't know how much longer I can keep him safe from himself and keep our family safe from him. I know it sounds crazy that I am actually afraid of my 4 year old but I instinctively flinch from him because of the frequency he hurts me. I'm crying as I write this not knowing what else to do.

I will be traveling out of country this summer but I have not purchased plane tickets of my own before. I was wanting to know if anyone knew of good cheap sites to buy tickets that are not scams or will rip you off with a lot of hidden fees.

I do not know why I am asking this on her except my real family is not giving me advise and says it is up to me and I am torn. My mom left my brother and me when I was 19 and he was 15. I raised him his teen years. I just got a letter from her saying that she is dying and wants to hear from me. She says that she never didn't want us except 7 years back that is just what she said, that she couldn't deal with being a mother. She said she straightened up her life and is not on drugs anymore but is dying of a bad hard and kidneys. I am so confused should I call her and talk to her or write her or do nothing. I nothing else this post will let me vent/think.

My son is going to a pediatric eye doctor next Tuesday for an exam but when he saw the neurologist last week see saw what I have been seeing off and on with my son. His left eye will turn inward when he is looking forward with the other eye. He cannot talk or tell us if he is seeing well. He is getting close to 4yrs old right now. I am worried that he may need surgery and wondered if anyone else had a similar problem with their child. He is also blinking excessively but this is also a symptom of brain tumors.

My friend has CF and has not applied for financial aid because she is afraid it will effect her disability. The financial help with her going to college for her family would really help. I wanted to know if anyone knew about this. Plz help.

My son is on his 4th case of croup and is only 3 yrs old but I never had it even once as a child. My husband and his two sister none of which had this.

My son is 3 years old with a mentality of just over a one year old. Almost every time we go to the store, pharmacy, mall, ect, he is asked " How old are you?", and " What is your name?". I know these are normal questions for a child his age so I simply answer for him and tell him he doesn't talk. However, when I do this people look at me like I'm crazy. He has medical problems but he looks "normal". Why do a lot of people not understand you don't have to look "special" to be handicapped mentally.

We are going on a family trip to Springfield this coming week, and my husband and I will be have a couple hours to go out by ourselves for a date. I was wanting to know of any good places for a date, more unique than movies, would be in Springfield, Illinois.

ok im not asking about emulators to start of with im asking about can u buy a PSP and get something to hook up to the computer to let u play the games on the computer because i don't like a smell Screen but if that can be fixed id like to know tx:)
