Where is a good place to buy airline tickets cheap?

Search for the websites of Low-Cost airlines.

Check the various price comparison sites - expedia, orbitz, priceline, kayak, etc to find the cheapest fares. It will show you the various airlines and options for non-stop, 1-stop and 2-stop so you can compare. And when you find a cheap fare, then check that airline's website directly to see if it might be cheaper. I've had instances where the price comparison sites give one price, then going to the airline's own site found they were running a special that was $100 less than found on any other site. You just need to look around on several sites to find the best options

And for the cheapest flights, fly on a Tuesday or Wednesday if possible - fares are lower than weekends

US Airways is the cheapest they usually do not suck (experience). The costs are the most affordable on the airline internet site. Hotwire and different stuff like that are higher unless they have offers or specials
