I believe that when the child of God dies, he is ushered into the presence of God. Jesus said to the thief on the cross "today you will be with me in Paradise."...it was a result of the thief believing that Jesus was the Christ. Sadly there will be no pets in heaven as they were not created with souls. Our earthly body does not go to heaven or hell, but, the Spirit inside of us (or the soul) leaves the body at death, and then if your name is written in the Lambs Book Of Life, then your soul will be in heaven for all eternity. If not, then you will be in eternity without God. A terrible place to find yourself. Each of us will stand before God at the judgment, and will answer for what was done while in the body. EVERYONE will be there. No exceptions. There will be no excuses, no pleading, no whys. For those who have acepted Christ, we will have our reward accordng to what we have done for Him. For those who have not accepted Christ, their punishment will be.....well, we all know what that will be. But we will ALL stand before God and make an account of what we have done.

For those of us who have repented of our sins, and have been cleansed by the blood, God will remember our sins against us no more. They are as far from us as the East is from the West. Praise God!!!
