Why do some motorcycles have their handlebars way up high, with the hand grips out and above a riders head?

Of course they should! What do you guys think? I have heard rumor of a maxi scooter, but meh. Who want's one of those when you can have a big a$$ motorcycle?

I am talking about a small cc (150cc to 200cc) "Vespa style" Harley Scooter. Something along the lines of a Genuine Buddy Blackjack in attitude and style, but 100% Harley.

Personally if I had a garage full of Harley's, or just one or two, I wouldn't mind having a little Harley scooter to add to the mix. A quick little runabout. It would be soooo cool!

Would any of you Harley riders own and ride one, or at least get one as a novelty or collectors item? I think they'd sell THOUSANDS of them :)

Why is this the "number of the beast," and how can it be interpreted in today's world?

Are they really called "Scooty's" in India, or are you guys just being cute about it?

I mean it's bad enough scooter riders in the U.S take so much B.S. from some people, but if I called what I ride a "scooty" I might even have to understand a little.

I often here it said when a person dies they are in a "better place" or "with Jesus" or "with Grandma" or something like that. usually, a better place or Heaven, though. But this is not true, is it? Why do people say such things? It's a lie, is it not?

In the book of Revelation it is made clear that the Kingdom Of GOD is to be here on earth, and on Judgment Day is when you go to Heaven or Hell. And that Heaven is right here, when God makes things new again. Paradise on earth.

If God lives in a place called Heaven, that's well and fine. But even if you don't believe in the "KIngdom Of God On Earth" stuff (but that's what it says) and believe your spirit actually goes somewhere else, no one is there yet, right? Except Jesus and some other old school peoples :D

So why do we lie to each other and ourselves about death? We do not go to a better place, but into the ground waiting for the Second Coming when we will be judged. And who knows when that will be? We aren't going to be with Jesus or Grandma or our dead pets, am I right?

Is this not true? I am confused....I am just going by what The Book says, and not the word of Man, who might seek to deceive me

I was browsing some forums today researching bikes and found out in my state (California) ANYONE with a "Class C" (passenger car) drivers license can operate a street legal three wheeler. Whether it be big, small, a scooter, or a custom job, if it looks like a motorcycle, is made from a motorcycle, but has three wheels, anyone is good to go to ride legally, anytime. The vehicle is registered as a motorcycle and insured as one and all laws apply as one, but legally it can be operated on road as a car. So that is pretty cool.

I understand this is NOT the same as riding a motorcycle. Its less involving, but if a person simply wants the wind in their hair, the feeling of speed, and the sense of freedom a truly open air riding experience affords you, are they fun,and do you feel more safe and stable on a trike then a motorcycle?

Also, what do some of you think of companies such as Ice Bear and Roketa which sell inexpensive "kit" trikes and scooter trikes? Reviews are good, and they are very inexpensive.

Hoping Hyundai Guru can chime in a little here, or anyone with such knowledge.

I am using felt tape to quiet places and pieces in my car which may squeak or rattle or otherwise make noise going over bumps and rough pavement. I have done the storage compartment doors, fuse box door, glove compartment, ashtray, headliner "snaps," and overhead grip handles. So far so good, but the more I quiet for good, the more what isn't quiet stands out.

I opened up the top storage compartment (top of the dash center stack) and found two screws under the bottom liner. I took these screws OUT, and while the compartment got looser, there was no way of removing it. What I want to do is take OFF the housing which surrounds the stereo and vents and put felt tape between the gaps to keep these pieces from rubbing together. I have tried to put felt tape between them as is, but the tolerances are too tight to slide or jam something in. So I would like the remove the surround ( the top part, too) place the felt in, and reassemble. But i can't see a way to do it.

I do see two screws in the lower compartment (the one below the HAVC) at its rear, but have no idea if this would be part of the process. I would also like to put felt between the vents at the outer edge of the dash, if possible. But that will come later. For now I just wonder how to get the center stack safely disassembled.

It looks like a sleeker version of the outgoing car, and also more stylish. Its called the Avante outside the Americas btw.

I don't know if it will "beat" other cars in its segment, but it looks like it can continue to compete. A new Corolla isn't even coming until model year 2014. Poor Toyota :'(

Or does it matter? Which have you done and what or the results? I have read pro and con off the interent but am looking for some real world experiences. Thanks =]
