I'm very overweight and my family makes it harder for me to lose weight. I've been gaining so much. Help? Plz?

My familys overprotective, so I can't go out walking(although we live in a small town). They're cheap, so they won't buy a treadmill. They laugh when i excersise or call me anorexic and force me to eat. Mum makes fatty foods and we eat at 10/11pm. I can't talk to them about my concerns Or sugest healthier food because they'll call me anorexc and make me eat. I'm 16years old. I'm 150lbs+ and 5'4ft. What should I do. They're making me lose motivation. I hate myself so much right now.

    Make an excercise plan they don't know about. Eat very little meats and pastas at super time don't seperate your salad from your meal put it on the same plate this way it looks like you are eating a lot. excercise in your room. walk in place, knee bends, leg lifts, do arobics, this will help a lot. monitor what you eat by calories. When you fix your plate at supper time, eat mostly veggies, pass on desert or throw it away when no one is around. don't try to loose weight to fast. Eat good at breakfast and a good lunch. Excercise for an hour each day. You don't need to loose much weight so these methods should work just fine for you.

    potatoes and cereal and bread and pasta and rice and drinks with sugar in them are more responsible for weight gain than fatty foods.

    i could lose weight even eating fast foods 3x a day by eating the high fat foods and cutting back on the carbs. eating fatty foods also keeps you from feeling hungry.

    so maybe you can adapt the foods you have to eat into weight loss.

    look at the website below and you might become a really smart kid when it comes to nutrition and then you will just be an even smarter adult.

    When school starts up again, go walking around the track after class or during lunch/free period. Or find a friend to work out with; the two of you can go walking together when you go over to his/her house.

    At home, eat only half of what you are given. If they make fun of you, tell them you care about your health and don't want to die young. They can't MAKE you eat unless they actually shove the food down your throat, and if that's the case, you need to talk to someone about being in an abusive home.

    You are over your weight, just for you to have an idea I am 5’07” 123lb and the doctors say that I am on best weight. I have no idea how to help you since your own family does not believe in health diet and what obesity can do to your body. If you go to school you should ask for your counselor’s advice in how they can talk to your family to help you by showing them the consequence of sedentary life and bad food habits. I was under-weight (104lb) and I wanted to gain more weight by doing exercise and eating more fat and carbohydrates, but everyone in my family would laugh at me call me anorexia girl or you will fly or you will disappear by doing exercise, and I stop because it was hurting me even knowing that an exercise combine with carbohydrates would make me increase body mass. Well I waited until I started work I left my home. I started my own diet combine with proper exercise since no one was there to make fun of me and now I believe that I am on my best health shape, but you don’t have to wait like I did you can have help from others, where I grew up I did not have anyone to help me.

    okay, well i know you might hate them now but its ok. i go through the same problem ina little different way. exercise secretly in your room, by doing sit-ups or crunches. anything small counts.

    just eat portions of what they give you or try eating raw vegetables, and making your own food.

    tuna is a good recipe and its very low cal. theirs many things you can try. and dont always restrict yourself from your family's food. like for breakfast 2 pieces of toast w/ butter is ok, and try fruits for snacks. theirs always a healthy way to anything you eat. good luck, i know you can suceed!

    maybe after you show your family how much healthier, they will follow i your footsteps, it will be okay!

    Call your doctor and have him.her talk to your parents. You are very overweight and need to lose it. ITs a serious problem and should not be taken lightly. I'm sorry about your situation. Try talking to your parents about the health risks associated with being overweight. show them bmi calculators, the food pyramid etc. Ask your doctor to have a family meeting

  • They can't physically put the food in your mouth.

    You need to tell them no.

    Go to sleep early so you don't have to eat.

    At eat veggies when they deny you them.

    Ask them if they don't care about your health.

    It may be hard but it can only get easier with time.

    You can still do work outs in your bedroom before you go to bed or when you wake up. That won't cost any money, and you can do them in your room away from your family.
