How do you remove cigarette smoke film from jewelry?
How do you remove cigarette smoke from jewelry? Does anyone know how to without making the jewelry smell like the cleaner? The jewelry is costume jewelry made from pot metal and alloys not gold or silver so the metal is more porous and delicate.
I don't smoke so don't be funny and tell me not to smoke. :)

Try to put it in a bowl with water and some washing up liquid. That should be mild enough not to ruin the metal, and will probably remove the smell from your jewelry.
Good luck!

I'd think it would be a bad idea to smoke cigs while having an infected lip piercing. You don't want the tar or anything in cigarettes to get in the piercing and further infect it. Although chances are your piercing is just irritated, not infected.
