Is uninstalling a program the same as deleting one?

Well, again, my bad. So please, someone a lot more iTune savvy than I, please rescue me once more.

Here is the deal. I deleted something called "bonjour" thinking I had inadvertently signed up for an online language learning program that I really did not want. Turns out it is necessary for certain aspects of iTunes to work the way it is supposed to. I got a pop up telling me to uninstall iTunes and then reinstall it afterwords. So before I do anymore damage I would appreciate knowing the following. (1) Is uninstalling a program the same as deleting it and sending to the recycle bin? (2) Will this process mess up my current iTunes library? (3) Once I do delete or uninstall iTunes, where do I go to get a new download and how will I get my current library back to normal? Thank you my friends.

Uninstalling it is getting rid of it from your computer completely, kind of like how you would "delete" a picture or document from the recycle bin. After you uninstall it, yes your library will be deleted, so go to Apple's website, download the new iTunes, reinstall it, and just upload your library again like you did the first time.

No, they are actually not a similar. Deleting is in basic terms removing the archives interior this methodology folder. It does not, whether, eliminate each and all the flaws that this methodology put in AND, in fact, leaves issues on your computer that's the reason for the decelerate. determine to have uninstalled. Uninstalling, removes maximum strains of this methodology and removes maximum, if not all, registry keys absolute to that software. Having ineffective registry keys that have not have been given courses to belong too reason slowdowns on your computer. additionally, this methodology remains interior the desktops listings (which you will discover via the upload/eliminate courses utility). That being stated, the computer nevertheless thinks this methodology remains there and which may additionally reason issues. My suggestion to you is the uninstall whenever you are able to and then in basic terms defragment your difficult rigidity.
