I'm all for David Cameron's quest to catch benefit cheats -but how does he know it will save £5.2 billion?

He doesn't know, it's a big number to make people impressed, anyway it's still good.

The basic JSA is £62 per week. Assuming the UK has a population of around sixty million, if everyone were to claim it would cost One Hundred and Ninety Three Thousand, Four Hundred and Forty Million pounds - or £193 billion in American terms.

If everyone were claiming that benefit all he would need to claw back would be £1.60 per week to make his 5.2 American Billion.

Doesn't sound so far fetched now, does it?

how many illegals are drawing welfare aid , not counting the abe bodied americans so between the two you have about ten million or more drawing money they are not entitled to
