When did Jesus say the end would come?? And who was He talking to in new testament letters? Who was the original audience? See link for a plethora of verses that prove we are not living in that time period. We don't have to be ready for something that already happened... we need to realize it already happened so we can enjoy what His presence here offers mankind!

A better question for me would be:

If this rapture happens, how many NON christians will be going to heaven?

Religion is a set of tenets made up by humans, it's not a natural order of things.

So, if the idea is that humans should be nice to each other and stuff, why can't a bunch of NON christians be let into heaven?

I know of plenty of christians who are evil, and I know plenty of atheists who are among the nicest, most decent humans you will ever meet.

It would seem odd that the criterion for inclusion into rapture and therefore heaven should be a specific belief in a specific set of tenets.

You do know that Jesus was just a carbon copy of the God Horus? It is a myth. How can any sane adult believe in virgin births and zombie(coming back from the dead 3 days later) people?
