Can someone please tell me how to post a link?

Quite a few people post links when they are in discussion groups and I have yet to discover how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

left click in the address bar on the item you want to post so that the whole address turns blue, then right click to open the option box. left click on copy, then when you want to leave the post, push ctrl and v at the same time

if it is words you want to copy, put the cursor at one end of the sentence or paragraph, then push and hold the left mouse button and scroll over the section you want to copy. they will turn blue, then use the copy instuctions from above
