Extraterrestrial Contacts on Scheduled Ham / Amateur Radio Nets?

If, during our weekly radio net, an extraterrestrial (Greens, Grays, BEMs-not the ISS/Shuttle) request to join the net, can I legally log them in? If asked to relay a message to the leaders of the world, could I get an exemption from part 97 third party rules? If none of the preceding are authorized communications, and the ETs were asking for directions to Earth because they were low on food, would this be considered an appropriate emergency communication?

You legally cannot, unless they at leased have amateur radio licenses recognized by earthly authorities..

If they are needing directions to earth then they must not know where they are at; So how would you know where to tell them to go?

What if they are coming to earth to fine the FCC for allowing harmful interference to their radio communications?

To be able to talk to you. They should already be here. I am sure that by that time they will also be already accompanied by a full squadron of military planes, So, they will have plenty of people to talk :-)

Interesting question. I don't think the FCC will pull your ticket if you do talk to one!
