It doesn't make any sense. Doesn't that go against the bible. I think they ought to have wised up by now and become atheist...

God created evolution ... drrr.
The first chapter says that God created the universe, then planet, water, ect-ect-ect ... his last creation was mankind. In this he breathed his image into us. So, since the chapter isn't more than 1000 words, I can only assume he didn't need us to know every moment before we were created in His image. I ask you ... would you rather be the image (physical, spiritual, and intellectually) of God or in the image of a monkey?

There are some very devout Christians who are also evolutionary biologists. Many Christian religions fully support evolution. They do it by taking the Bible creation story as allegory and parable. They believe that God created whatever existed just prior to the Big Bang, that he created the initial life that then evolved and that he created the laws of science.
Atheists would not disagree, as we do not know what happened just before the Big Bang or how initial life came to be. Just because we don't know doesn't mean God did it, but the possiblity exists. Atheists choose not to believe God did it, Christians choose to believe he did. Neither view can be proven.

Genesis 1:25 (NIV) God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
All the creatures were made according to their KIND. No evolving process involved.
You guys need to read Dr.Stephen Myer book " The Signature of the Cell." Stephen shows that the probability of a functional 150 codon DNA molecule (a small DNA molecule) mutating randomly to form a new functional DNA molecule is less likely than you finding a tagged proton particle (a positive charged particle in an atom) in the entire known universe. Evolution is a MYTH.

Evolution is a working framework in science it neither proves or disproves Christianity or God. There is an ultimate truth to all of reality and it isn't humanistic.

Evolution doesn't go against the Bible at all. Even if evolution were true God simply would use such a function as He saw fit.
Its obvious that the Grand Canyon was formed over millions of years due to erosion and by measuring its gradual increase in size one can easily see that it is millions of years old. Yet I believe that God made it just as we see it today with its APPARENT appearance of agedness!
Although I dont believe in evolution it wouldnt matter one way or another. God simply made sheep as you see them along with their ability to transform into other forms through time IF that were the case.
God bless you.

you can't. i don't know how they can lie to themselves. they haven't even read the whole bible. you can't be god and guide evolution. that doesnt give god any credibility and whoever started writing genesis was clearly wrong at base. but what the *****, i'm talking to The Illogicals.

Only if you believe that every single word of the bible is literally true...given the number of clear contradictions, such a stance is indefensible.
