Why Did The Beatles Suck Like Nothing's Ever Sucked Before?

they couldn't carry a tune if the had a bucket brigade, and their songwriting is just weak and pathetic....

Ok, not really, but You gotta admit I got Your attention, made You click, didn't I?

So my question is this, I'd like to know why obvious trolling and flame-bait get 446 answers, per question. whileeeee a serious music question gets anywhere from zero to 4 or 5 responses, with luck, ever time? Plus You know everyone hear and their brother whines moans and complains about how thick and bad the trolls are. And then the only thing You'll answer is the flamebait.....

Things that make Ya go hmmmmmm

So now, lets have Your thoughts upon this matter

Update:

And before You go into crazy rage mode I readily admit I enjoy tweaking a troll

Update 2:

Did ya even read Mah Q thar Layla?

Update 3:

I LOL-ed Baron

A lot.....

Update 4:

I'd like to thank Firesign, Baron, and Cigarley for sum epic lulz

And GESM is so correct

Update 5:

Layla...a nice chianti?

(Meant to be said like Humphrey Bogart).

I've tried not to contribute to the trolling, but it's like a disease.

Once you witness it, it's a completely inescapable inevitability...once it's there, you can't avoid it...once your pupils come into contact with the mouth of the troll, there's no turning back.

    It's unavoidable.

The troll's lack of trolling skills themselves boils your blood. You need to tell the world how terrible this person's trolling is, you NEED to point out their inability to troll...yes, you're supplying extra chutzpah to the whole fiasco, but you can't...NOT do it. It's something every man will do, once he's a seasoned (yet ignorant) troll-hunter.

Even the most intelligent of users will fall for the trolls' traps, no matter how moronic the trolls themselves may be.

The troll's ostensible ignorance to his own trade is something to be ridiculed, so we think, even if it leads to the ridiculing of oneself by other users ridiculing the deservingly ridiculed who deserve to be ridiculed themselves!

It's an endless, vicious cycle, and there's no way to avoid it. Like drug addiction or marriage.

    And there you have it.

Source(s): 'Chutzpah' probably doesn't fit there, but oh well.

well, I was going to start out by saying that I really like Cheap Trick's covers of the Beatles songs better than the originals in most cases, but I don't think that is what you are really asking anymore

in all seriousness, those questions get tons of answers because they are fun and you can leave a smartass answer without looking like a jerk

when you leave a smartass answer on a serious question, that's not so cool

people here like to have fun too, so I think most of us answer a variety of questions, some serious and some not so serious - it is hard sometimes to answer all of the serious questions if you don't have much knowledge about it, not everyone is willing to admit they have not heard of a particular artist or is able to respond in an intelligent manner about everything

Because, let's face it, the Internet's greatest power is also its greatest fault; the fact that it's open to pretty much anybody, including a wide range of morons and overly sensitive people. I'm not saying everyone on the Internet is stupid or immature, it's just that there's so many of those who are (especially here) that those who are able to provide intelligent answers to intelligent questions are few and far between.

Or another, more plausible theory, is that people are inherently lazy and answering "Troll!" is much easier than having to think about the answer they're providing.

It seems as if you've got me.

Yeah I'll be all out honest and admit that I complain about the trolls and then feed them.

I guess it's easier to answer the flamebait, while the real music questions require thinking.

    Great question!

  • U SUCK NEED TO LISSEN 2 GHUD MUSIC LIKE BEATLES AND PARAMORE!

Apologies for not being in epic trolling mode... I remember asking something like this once.... and was left with no good explanation either.

    haha, interesting strategy!

People just love to argue. Human nature. And to prove their point, that THEIR right. But the spread of knowledge, yeah some people could care less.

    Sad.

The only reason I clicked on it was to defend the Beatles! And you have a point.

I don't know how obvious they are to some people I mean mine was obvious but still some people thought i was real.

Your question, Karl, has inadvertently pointed out another all-too-common problem in here:

People who read the bold header but not the other text.

    You could seriously post up:

What's your favorite Faith No More song? (big bold header)

    ...other than "Epic." (small text)

and every single answer you got would say "Epic"

Because some people make it too obvious they want attention.
