Cascade is a small farming and ranching community located between Great Falls and Helena at the mouth of the Missouri River Canyon. This area has unlimited opportunities for outdoor recreation, including wildlife viewing, fishing and hunting.

The Missouri River flows through town. Holter Lake is located twenty-five miles south of Cascade. Both bodies of water provide a mecca for fishermen. Anglers can fish from shore or boat for Rainbow and Brown Trout, and, at the lake, Walleye Pike and Perch.

Both waterways are popular spots for boating, water-skiing and rafting enthusiasts.HUNTING

Quality Montana hunting for elk, whitetail, mule deer and antelope are in the Cascade area. Pheasant and grouse abound. Located in the Missouri River Flyway, geese and other waterfowl make for a hunter’s Paradise.

Kansas City was founded in 1838 as the "Town of Kansas" at the confluence of the Missouri and Kansas rivers . The Kansas and Missouri rivers cut wide valleys into the terrain when the glaciers melted and drained. A partially filled spillway valley crosses the central portion of Kansas City, Missouri. This valley is an eastward continuation of Turkey Creek valley. Union Station is located in this valley. The city's municipal water was recently rated the cleanest among the 50 largest cities in the United States, containing no detectable impurities.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kansas_City,_Missouri... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kansas_City,_Missouri
