Name for a female betta?
I know this same question is asked daily, but this has been bothering me. She the only nameless betta I have, and I've had her for about 2 months.
She's a Metallic Green Halfmoon Plakat. Out of all my males and females she is by far the most aggressive (Except when breeding). She'll jump out of the water and bite me when I feed her. Today I stuck a Q-tip in her tank and she destroyed it in 2 seconds. So, what should I name this little girl?
Hiding in the Java Moss.
Tiffini, she's a she. I've bred her before.
Once again, it is a she. She has a visable ovipositor and I've successfully bred her with a male. Females can be just as colorful as the males.

Isis come to mind or perhaps Athena goddess of war and wisdom. Edit: people Betta Splendors know fish and know her own fish really well so if she say it is a female ,believe it !

I know the feeling. It took me a month and a half to name my male Betta something. Like all my fish, it took me a while to name them all something unique.
Your Betta is very pretty. I'm not sure what the best name would be, since they're are so many. Here are some I like or associate with blue.
- Teal, Oceania, Calypso (I like spelling it Kalipso; almost named my female Angel that), Mystic, Mystery, Mulan, Mobius Blue, Emerald, Aoi, Azul, Aurora, Frost, Gemini, Sashimi, Esme, Aquamarine, Amethyst, Vendetta, Juniper, and Dasani.

The white and pink, you are able to call Amber, Abby, or Rose... the yellow Sunny, Cinnamon, Moondrop. The bluish-eco-friendly Sapphire, Dew, Sammy. by how, a white physique with pink fins is observed as cambodian :)

Like all my answers, only you can figure out the name. She is the same color as my fish, Pandora, but my fish is a Betta. But, your fish is feisty. So, call her by her personality, her color. I would call her Feisty Green, but, ONLY you can choose. ;)

That is a male. you can tell because a male uses its colorful fan fins to seduce a female for breeding. a good male name for that beta is Olivine.
