Anyone heard of the gm free repaint deal?

If that artical is true then i should be able to get my 87 camaro repainted because the clear coat is awful.

Has anyone actually gotten gm to repaint their car?

If you have how easy was it and when did you get it done (what year)

Any tips for getting them to do it, or if the deal is still around?

    Well,if you can prove that this started to happen before 1993,then you may have a reason to sue GM in small claims court.That might be a little difficult due to the fact that the original GM went bankrupt,voiding all deals of the sort.
