Is January a good time to visit Iceland?
We are planning to go late January next year but was wondering as its out of season if its a good time to go and what trips you can or cant do that time of year?. Also how short are the days likely to be as i guess it probably gets dark quite early that time of year? Thanks.

It'll be a bit cold and will be dark for about 23 hours each day

There is no good time. I visited this July and the weather was terrible most of the time. Foggy, rainy and cold.
