Who told you a fasting 106 was pre diabetes? At 17, 106 is a great fasting number. Even when you get older, alarm bells don't start going off until about a fasting 125. Also, there are so many other tests besides your blood sugar reading that would have to be done in order to determine diabetes. A number, high or not, on its own really doesn't mean anything without the other tests to back it up. That being said, if you are in the least concerned, make an appointment with your doctor. And if it was your doctor who alarmed you with the info that a fasting 106 was pre diabetes, and he didn't do any other tests, get a new doctor.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

That is the largest Urban Myth LIE of the century! and the century is still vwery young!
NO, you do not have to be a fat slobby couch potato sitting around playing video games and eating bon bons to be diabetic. In fact there are way more of us skinny minnies who race around the tracks and whatever else needs chased affter than there are of the fat slobs who are diabetic type 2s!
And you are not yet in the diabetic catagory, but headed that way rapidly. Probably nothing you can do to slow it down either. You can try the very very low carb food plans and doubling your already over active lifestyle, but It probably won't help that much.
See your doctor for blood draw testing to make sure it is only a threat of diabetes and not a double whammy of thyroid and diabetes.
Oh, yes,, it may not be type 2!! It could be the unnotarized type 1.5 which is a cross up of both type 1 and type 2!!

Type 2 diabetes, usually referred to as adult onset, is when your body produces insulin but can not use it properly. This type can be treated successfully with the right diet and exercise in most circumstances. If blood sugars are not kept under control at some point insulin will probably be integrated / oral medications are also available.
People with diabetes can live long, happy lives but must be diligent in their care and make sure you see your endocrinologist on a regular basis.
