I live in FL. My husband took our 3 daughters over 2 months ago to live in GA with another woman...?

I want to get a divorce and move to MD. Which state's custody laws would I have to follow? Thank you for any information and advice.

Update:

Thank you all for your quick responses. I know that I need to seek the advice of an attorney. I am asking if anyone knows what state in which I should hire one. Again, thank you.

Update 2:

I want to move to MD because a better life with a new man awaits me there.

You need to seek a lawyer. Why would you let your husband take your children. You need to file for custody asap. And you shouldnt be moving anywhere unless its closer to your kids. You husband had no right to take them out of the state of florida with out your permission.

Speak to a Divorce attorney, they usually do initial consults for free to determine if they can handle your case, ie: jurisdiction, etc.
