I just went outside and noticed that my tomatoes have late blight. Can the unaffected tomatoes be salvaged?

Can I wash them really well and let them continue to ripen off the bush or is it that since the bushes already have it the tomatoes will develop the black spots?

Update:

That's what I meant, can I save the unaffected ones by picking them? I got it last year but it was well before the tomatoes had ripened so I didn't get any of them. I at least want to get the ripe ones of and save them!

If it is late blight you probably can not save all the tomatoes. They will go bad right along with the plant. Pick and eat what you can.
