Trying to avoid going to my sister's birthday, what should I do?
i can't stand my family (long story, not going to get into it) and have seen them 3 times this month. My sister is a royal snob and as I said I have already seen her three times this month. If i go they will just **** talk me when I am gone, and if I bring my fiance with me they will **** talk us both when we leave. It is tomorrow, so do you have any suggestions as to how I can miss out?
Do not say work, my mother works at the same place I do. Do not say car trouble, I am close enough to be picked up.
forgot to mention i already went to the other sister's party this month, so "telling the truth" is gonna catch me drama hell.

I like the answerer above me- Just not go, and if they ask, tell them you don't feel appreciated or something.
Otherwise, if you NEED an excuse, say your fiance is very ill and you need to be there to take care of him. Say that your friend is really ill and you need to take care of them. Say you have to watch the neighbors kids, it was last minute and they need you...
Good luck!

Here's a novel approach...
Don't show up and if asked why not tell them the truth.
