I got mine out last friday, and I started talking in full sentences last night... Just don't push yourself to talk. Keep a pen and paper close by. And eat lots of jello and pudding!

Good luck! It's really not as painful as people make it out to be. Just feels like an extremely terrible sore throat. It's been a week and I'm slowly starting to feel better.

    Take care.

for about 7-10 days you shouldn't talk much, especially not loudly to give time to your throat to heal.

it's not that you won't be able to. it's just that you are advised not to. it might hurt a bit at first too.

but your doctor will tell you all about it.
