How can I wash this stuffed animal?

I have an old bunny stuffed animal that has been around for a while, and looks the part! I want to clean him but I am not sure how to do that. He has, in his paws, beans (or something), and the rest of him is stuffed. I am not able to read the tag for how to wash him because the words are all rubbed off.

He was carried around by me for years when I was younger and I never allowed my mom to wash him.But now he sits in my room but is very dirty looking, I just want him to look a little cleaner.

Any suggestions on how to clean him? I don't want to take him to the cleaners, do you think hand washing him is the best way to clean him? He is kind of smelly.

Thanks for any tips!!

I wud try the cleaners. We just had a stuffed animal that got lodged under an old fashioned radiator, with accumulated grime. The person at the dry cleaning store was quite fond of the animal and promised to do the best possible. It came back looking so good that I decided to post this. Hope it is helpful.

I also have a front loader washer and that i washed an entire field of crammed animals i found packed up interior the basement for 2 years. all of them washed up fantastically. I used some tennis shoes interior the dryer to help get them thoroughly dry and fluffy. They smelled large afterwards (in assessment to the musty scent that they had going interior the wash!). Then I set them interior the sunlight for approximately 10 minutes the two edge. got here out acceptable!

I found my teddy bear that I had when I was younger a few weeks back. it was filthy. I tried wiping it with a damp cloth but the best is the washing machine or hand washing.
