Do you live a thoughtful life?(Serious question)?

What is a thoughtful life? How do you make sense of and apply ethics in your life? Is there anyone in the public eye that you think lives a thoughtful life? I've thought about this question and truly the only person that comes to mind is possibly Brad Pitt

    Yes, yes I do. I'm a teenager. I'm a straight A student, I can speak 3 languages (planning to master chinese and arabic), I have sufficient knowledge in social life (anthropology and gender studies), I'm an excellent baskeball and soccer player, and although my previous listings probably imply that i'm some type of nerd or geek, I'm actually very socially involved and an outgoing type of guy. Since my dad's in the military, i've lived in 6 countries (half of them 3rd world countries) so i'm well behaved unlike the typical 'american' teenager, and have a good understanding of the so called world we live in. For my future, i'm planning to join the army (hopefully make it 2 special forces school as a sniper) maybe spend 6-8 years in and come out and work as a forensic anthropologist (with a hot wife and cute kids :) [hopefully]. So as you can see, i'm a mix of a funny dude (very socialy involved), a genious (intelligent), and know what I want from my life...btw, I'm an atheist, and planing to retire (hopefully) at age 60 so I can travel to 3rd world countries with my wife as a philanthropist......how's that for a thoughtful life?:)

    A thoughtful life is trying to understand the things around you, the world, its people, your place in it. By understanding I mean finding the truth. Many people give up on that and stop looking because it is difficult. It is something you learn over a lifetime, it doesn't happen all at once, and young people are at the beginning of the road. One thing builds on another. So much is hidden by our desires, by the distractions of life. You have to learn to see objectively, to separate the important from what is not essential. It all depends on how you are oriented.

    Do you live a thoughtful life?(Serious question)?

    ~~~ Everyone's lives are full of 'thought'!
    Is it to some specific flavor of 'thought' to which you refer?
    Philosophy is 'critical thought'. Religion is 'belief thought'. There is also; logical thought, rational thought, memory, imagination... all 'thought'!
    All the 'who', 'what', 'where', 'when' and 'why' od life, all notions of 'time' and 'motion' are 'thought'... All notions of 'causality' (obsolete), 'reason', all questions and answers are 'thought'.
    'Thoughts' are perceived, just like hamburgers and the sun!
    The person who has coined this "thoughtful life" can only explain what is thoughtful life.
