Haven't felt the baby move in a couple days?
I am currently 18 weeks pregnant and have been feeling the baby move since 15 weeks and once in a while I have days that I don't feel it really at all. It has been 2 days now and no matter how I lay, sit walk or anything I can't seem to feel it at all. I have been getting some very good strong wiggles going on already and it has started to be pretty consistent but I guess i am just getting a little worried this time since its been 2 days and all. This is my 3rd and I don't really remember this with the last two. Anyone have the same thing going on and everything is fine? Should I be concerned?

baby is still pretty small and hasnt established regular movement cycles. some people dont even feel movement at 18 weeks.
i am expecting #2, and felt first movements at 13 weeks. i would have days where i felt nothing. I actually didnt feel movement at all from week 15 to week 16. as soon as i told my husband that i was worried, i felt a poke from baby...lol!

eat chocolate or drink a soda with some caffiene or sweets. This might it move again a little. 18 weeks is pretty early to be feeling it and it may be resting due to a growth spurt now. I felt my girls at 15 weeks with both and it came and went but by 20 weeks they were pretty regular till they got real big, then it never really stopped it just decreased in the amount. I am 30 weeks with my son now, and I never felt him till 20 weeks and then hardly at all, now he is non stop and trying to kill me.

The baby is still pretty small. You may go days without feeling the baby move. You dont feel constant movement until you get to like 23 weeks atleast. You dont start counting movements until like 28 weeks. It's normal.

If you have just been feeling flutters then it is a possibility that you may have just been having gas pains or the kicks just werent strong enough. You should really start feeling hard kicks around 20 weeks. You can call the dr. but he will probably tell you the same thing.

You should call your doctor's office if for no other reason than to give yourself peace of mind. If you have been feeling it pretty consistently, especially if this is your third, they will probably want to see you to at least use the doppler.

Try to drink something sweet or eat something and see if the baby responds if not contact you doctor's office and ask if they think that you should come in just to be on the safe side.
