If a 2 year old girl....?

removes her clothes, says she likes to be naked and starts shaking her butt in front of others, and touching her genitals.....would you question where she's learning this? Her family laughs and thinks its funny, but I know this is no way a young girl is going to learn self respect. What would you do...no lewd comments please, this is a child!

She's 2, it's natural to be curious and look to others for their responses. My niece used to do the same thing. She'd take her dress off and pull ups and run around naked, refusing to get dressed. If people were around she would do a silly dance or bend over and shake her bum. Her parents were fairly strict with her, and she never watched music videos. The first two times people couldn't help but laugh...so she thought it was funny too. She's 3 now, and grew out of that within a few months. But it's normal for kids to do things like that.

If you're worried, talk to the parents about it, or even older siblings..grandparents. She'll probably grow out of it quick if people stop giving her positive attention for it.

Most toddlers love to run around naked and many masturbate. It's perfectly normal. It's a phase she's going through. She'll go through a modesty phase also.

my daughter is two and she loves being naked as well, i took her for her check up and the doctor informed me that this is the time where she will become Curious and that i should respect that. so its completely normal.i personally dont like it but its something they go through.

This is completely normal for is age group. She now just needs to be taught boundaries and for people to ignore it and her parents to discipline. She will eventually realize this isn't acceptable social behavior.

you have to teach her from right and wrong. Its ok to laugh at her cause is cute but family have to when not to take so far.
