Horus, he was an Egyptian god and I think his symbol was the hawk. I might be wrong...

Well, Horus is the most obvious one that comes to mind. He's the Hawk-headed Egyptian God, son of Osiris and Isis. (the Egyptian trinity was Father, Mother, Son)
