How long after a rape is commited until the rapist can no longer be charged, in Idaho?

    There is no statute of limitations for rape in Idaho and in most states.

    IDAHO CODE § 19-401 No statute of limitations for

    certain felonies

    No time limit for:

    • Rape (§ 18-6101, § 18-6108)

    • Sexual abuse of a child (§ 18-1506)

    • Lewd conduct with a child (§ 18-1508)
