How can I remove hair dye from a hardwood floor?
The floor was refinished a couple of years ago and sealed with polyurethane. I was dying my daughter's hair (dark red, of course) and dripped some on the floor, which now seems stained. Is there anything I can do to get it up? I've tried water, of course, and also a Clorox wipe.
Let me know - I think time is of the essence!

Try mineral spirits. Chances are the floor will need refinished and possibly patched in the stained area
