The name on my passport is misspelled - Angle instead of Angie?
I received my passport years ago and just never got it corrected. I flew once to Korea and they noticed that my first name was misspelled on my passport. I didn't even notice until they pointed it out. They got one letter wrong in my first name. They spelled my name which is Angie - they spelled it Angle on my passport. haha. Anyway, I want to order tickets and fly out of the country leaving in 2 weeks. I don't want to hassle to try to hurry and rush a new corrected passport. Could I just order my airline tickets under the first name "Angle" even though it is wrong? This way my airline ticket name will match the name on my passport. Thanks in advance for all your help! :)

If it is US passport go to a nearest passport office with proof of the correct spelling of your name and they will issue a new passport for you. If there is no sufficient time you may give the travel agency the name as spelled in your passport but that will not be my first choice.

i never thought of that. you could, but itll be better just to get it corrected, because you could have some problems later on.
