  • What is the background music from in Katy Perry's new song Dark Horse?

The first time I heard Katy Perry's new song, Dark Horse, I thought she was sampling another song but I can't figure it out! Help! The background music that sounds so familiar starts at about 15 seconds into the song. It almost reminds me of a show from the 90's or something. Maybe I'm just imagining it. If anyone else knows what I'm talking about, please help! I've been searching for a song that probably doesn't even exist for the last 3 days now! :)

Here's the youtube link to the song:

  • How would you spell the name "Keira?"?

I am pregnant and having a little girl next month. We currently have a 2 year old girl named Kiana Rayne. For our new little girl, I really like the name Keira (like the actress Keira Knightly). It is pronounced Keer-rah. The middle name I like is Mei (pronounced May). This would be to honor my grandmother who passed away a couple of months ago (her middle name was Mae). I like the Mei spelling because I am half Asian and half White and Mei means younger sister in Chinese which I thought was fitting. However, I'm starting to second guess my name choices. I am finding out that many people are already spelling the name Keira as Kiera (been getting baby shower gifts to "Kiera"). Is this a better spelling of the name? Can you please give me your opinion on how you think it should be spelled? I am also open to suggestions. Thank you in advance! :)

  • What do you think of the name Keira Mei?

I am pregnant and having a little girl this August. We currently have a 2 year old girl named Kiana Rayne. Our last name is 2 syllables and starts with a G. We are trying to come up with a cute name for our daughter due in August. We'd like a name that starts with a K and is a little unique. I really like the name Keira (like the actress Keira Knightly). However, I am nervous that many people will not be able to pronounce Mei correctly...which might not be so important since it is only her middle name. Can you please give me your opinion on the first and middle name we have picked out so far. I am also open to suggestions. Thank you in advance! :)

  • How do I protect my new furniture from my toddler?

I got a great deal on some new furniture and couldn't pass up on the savings. I bought an entire bedroom set for my 1.5 year old little girl. It is a great bedroom set and can last years and years if I can take care of it. My little girl loves to draw and whenever she finds a pen, she goes crazy and tries to write on everything. I will hide all pens with the new furniture but I am wondering if there is a special kind of varnish spray that I can spray the furniture with to help it wipe away marks easier. If not, then I totally deserve any marks that may come from my daughter-- it will be inevitable I am sure. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions :) Thanks in advance!!! :) :) :)

  • What is customs like in the Philippines?

We are going to the Philippines and my husband's cousin gave us a pool flow-cell (a part to a pool pump) to bring with us to give his aunt for their pool. It is in a heavy box (about 33 lbs). We are going to check it as separate luggage. I am nervous about how strict they are when we get there. Will they try to confiscate it? Will they try to bribe us for money? Should I be concerned about a pool flow-cell?

  • The name on my passport is misspelled - Angle instead of Angie?

I received my passport years ago and just never got it corrected. I flew once to Korea and they noticed that my first name was misspelled on my passport. I didn't even notice until they pointed it out. They got one letter wrong in my first name. They spelled my name which is Angie - they spelled it Angle on my passport. haha. Anyway, I want to order tickets and fly out of the country leaving in 2 weeks. I don't want to hassle to try to hurry and rush a new corrected passport. Could I just order my airline tickets under the first name "Angle" even though it is wrong? This way my airline ticket name will match the name on my passport. Thanks in advance for all your help! :)

  • Can you still start a probate process if the deceased is a non US citizen?

My mother in law (who is a non-US citizen) has a bank account here in the US where my husband and I live. She unfortunately got Alzheimer's and is now being taken care of in the Philippines. She used to live here in the states and when she did, she opened a bank account here. After she got sick, she moved back to the Philippines where she will pass away soon. She has no will and no property. Her only asset is this bank account which has a substantial amount of money in it. When she does pass away, is it still possible for my husband to begin a probate process even though she is a non-US citizen and she passed away in another country? She has no spouse and my husband is her only child.

  • Can anyone provide natural teething remedies for my 5 month old?

My 5 month old daughter has started teething. She is constantly drooling and putting her hand in her mouth. I haven't felt any teeth poke through yet but I really want to provide her with some sort of comfort and preferrably something a little more natural rather than baby tylenol or oralgel. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for all the help! :)

  • Which middle name do you like better? Rae or Rayne?

We are having a girl the end of this month and STILL can't decide on a middle name :(

I would like to ask for other people's opinions please. Her first name will be Kiana (pronounced Kee-ah-nah). She will be half Asian and half white so we both agreed Kiana sounded a little exotic and appropriate.

Neither me nor my husband has been able to agree upon a middle name though. I like the name Rae (the name Ray has been in my family for quite some time). And my husband likes the name Rayne (but I think it sounds too unusual to be paired with an unusual first name).

Can you please give me your opinion...or if you don't like neither, let me know that too.

    Thanks in advance!

  • I need a middle name for Kiana please.?

I'm having a baby girl middle to end of September, next month. My husband and I are both half Asian/half White so baby Kiana will look a bit exotic. That is why we thought the name Kiana would be suitable. I still haven't decided on a middle name though. Our last name is 2 syllables and start with a "G" just in case anyone is wondering about how it would sound all together. Some thoughts I had were:

    Kiana Lily

    Kiana Grace

    Kiana Mae

    Kiana Rae

    Kiana Jade

    Kiana Hope

    Kiana Eden

    Kiana Belle

    Kiana Rose

I am hoping I could get some opinions because I like them all and can not decide which middle name I like best. Thanks in advance to all that give me their opinion or want to add to the list :)

  • Looking for a middle name for Kiana...?

My baby is due Sept 09 and she will be half asian and half white. We decided on the name Kiana (pronounced: Kee-ah-nah) since it sounds a little exotic and Hawaiian. I'm stuck when it comes to her middle name. I am hoping for something simple, very American, and one syllable since her first name is a little different. Some ideas I thought of were: Mae, Lynn, Jade, and Grace. Our last name starts with a "G" so I have put that a little into consideration also. If anyone has any idea at all, please let me know. :) Thanks in advance for all your opinions!

  • Do you like the name Kiana or Kamea?

I'm having a little girl this Sept and I'm trying to decide what to name her. I'm half Korean and half white and my husband is half Filipino and half white. So the baby will also be half asian/half white probably with tan skin. I'm trying to think of a name that will be a little exotic but not something that other kids will make fun of her for. I like Kiana (pronounced Kee-ah-nah) and my dad found the name Kamea (pronounced Kah-mee-ah). Both are supposedly Hawaiian names. Which do you like better or can you think of a better name?

  • Does a faint positive sign still mean I'm pregnant?

So after my husband telling me for the last 2 weeks that I'm pregnant, my mom saying she had some weird dream about me which means I'm pregnant, and then last night I had a dream I was pregnant AND I craved a pickle today lol...I FINALLY decided to take a pregnancy test just to prove everyone wrong. Well my EPT gave me a very very faint positive sign. I called the 800 number and they said any faint line means its a go. My period is due tomorrow. My question is, is there anything that can make it look like a faint positive without me being pregnant?

  • Help! Putting together office Party with a very cheap budget...any ideas?

I am in charge of putting together an office party for about 40 people with a budget of $500 and unfortunately, everyone has expensive taste. Is there any way I can make a party look exquisite without spending thousands of dollars? I was looking at banquet halls but they seem to be a little too pricey. Now I'm leaning towards just renting out a hall and making it a masquerade party or costume party just to make it fun and bringing in catered food. Does anyone have any good ideas? This is in the Sarasota area of Florida.

  • Does a Rising Body Temperature make you feel hotter?

This seems logical...a rising body temperature would make a person feel warmer than usual, but then why does a fever make a person feel cold?

  • Do stockbrokers make decent money nowadays?

I'm trying to encourage my dear husband to get a better job/career. He has a bachelors degree but has gotten comfortable with his valet job. At the age of 36, I don't think he will physically be able to do this much longer. The only profession he is even remotely interested in is stockbroker. I honestly do not know much about this profession except that you have to take the Series 7 which I heard was extremely hard! I have confidence in him, and I will always encourage him to do what he wants, but is there anyone with some advice on this type of career?
