Is the Ground Zero Mosque fight really between two Muslim sects?
Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. is partly owned by the Saudi Arabian royal family, the sponsors of the fundamentalist Wahabi sect of Islam. The "Ground Zero" mosque is being built by a member of the Sufi sect of Islam, who are viewed as heretics by the Wahabis. Are the NY Post, Wall Street Journal, and Fox News fighting the mosque at the behest of Wahabi News Corp shareholders?

Now THIS question shows some forethought and insight.
I will have to do further research to answer conclusively. It does make sense though. Someone is funding the Right Wing Fear Machine. Wahabis could EASILY afford it.
