Do news organizations have political agendas because they are in the pockets of political parties?
Or do they lean to the liberal or conservative side because their advertising departments dictate it will get them the most ratings? Or are American Journalists 'completely unbiased'?

I agree with Sam as far as having to 'jazz up' the story......but news organizations are so obviously in the pockets of the political parties. Remember Chris Matthews calling the election for the Dems? hahahaha

News organizations have a responsibility to their stockholders to "sell" the news. Any story reported is jazzed up to make them more interesting. That being said, the "news" we hear is always slightly or largely sensationalized to make it more interesting. Since reporters and editors are human beings, the news is obviously going to be jaded in the direction of the newspaper's political views. Its just human nature.
I personally don't believe in many of the paranoid "conspiracy theories". But, I also am not foolish enough to believe that the news we hear is the simple truth. The simple truth would not sell very well. Gotta spice it up, baby!!!
