weird...stuff in my hair.?
After I dyed my hair, I've been seeing little white dots all over, and they won't come out!
My cousin had head lice this summer, and I'm scared I caught it, but my mom doesn't think I have it, and no one else who has been in contact with my cousin has gotten lice.
But there's no itchiness, it doesn't come out, and it hasn't appeared until after i dyed my hair.
any Idea what it is?
Thank you.

maybe dandruff? try head and shoulders shampoo. p.s. you'll know if you have head lice if the white dots move on their own or if the white dots are attached directly onto the hair follicle

Its probably because your scalp became dry after dying it. Just use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner every other day/every three days and it should go away if it is just from dryness. I doubt it's lice unless you came into direct contact with your cousins head or anything that came into direct contact with his head.

You cannot see lice it is way to small and lice is not comfortable but if it's white it,s properly dandruff you can use special shampoo and it will go away!

Your mom seriously needs to go back to school. Those are lice eggs i'm afraid, and they are very sticky i recommend you seek a lice comb from your local pharmacy.
Source(s): If not lice eggs, maybe dandruff. It's very common to get dandruff after dying your hair because hair dye isn't exactly healthy for your hair and scalp. It can make your hair somewhat nappy if you have been dying your hair for years, so really the smart thing to do is lay off the harsh chemicals and be happy with your natural hair color, or face severe consequences! if you had blonde or lighter hair that is probably why you didn't notice it before, and i think you may have a dry scalp! (called dandruff) like having dry skin on your arms or whatever, then u put moisturizing shampoo on it. companies like Selsun Blue work well, try google to search for more :) hope this helps
