How can we know the Top 100 (answerers/contributors) in the leader board in a category?

Click on your picture. On the page that appears, you will find a button named "view leaderboard" On clicking that you can see top 5000 of the country on which website you have opened.

If you open YA with url http://answers.yahoo.com/, it is USA site. If you open http://in.answers.yahoo.com,/ it is India's site and so on. To know url for any country, click on the flag of the country at the bottom of YA page. In every country's leaderboard, at the top, you also get weekly rank as well as global overall and global weekly ranks of top 5000.

"view leaderboard" button is next to your total points after you open the page by clicking on your icon.

It is possible that your name is listed in a different country. To search in any country, proceed as under:

1) Click on the flag of that country

2) Click on your icon

3) Click on "view leaderboard" which opens page 1

4) Click on page 2 to open page2

5) Now opeing each page one by one will be time consuming. Each page has 20 ranks. Judge where you may be based on your total points between 19300 and 19600. Suppose you think you may be on page 20, then click on browser address bar to select it and click on it. On that you will notice cp=2 meaning current page = 2, Change 2 to 20 and enter and you will go to page 20 straightaway. Like that, by trial and error go to the page where persons having points between 19300 and 19600 are listed and see if your name appears.

6) If not, go to another country.

I do not think there is any shortcut to this way of searching.

Just as the criteria for award of the Top Contributor Badge is not only top secret but highly classified information,so is the information that you now seek.Don't know why Yahoo is making a big production of these things.I am sure that most users would not even bother to know these things and rightly so too,because it doesn't contribute to any increase of knowledge.

Sorry you cannot find out who the top 100 leaders are in each category as Yahoo only displays the top 10. Apart from that you can only find out who is the top names on the leaderboards.

There is no way. It only shows the top 10.
