Calculus Limit Problem?

lim x->4

x^3-64

________

x^3-2x^2-7x-4

that's a dividing line.

I know how to do these problems but I factored the numerater and now have no idea how to factor the denominator. Please and Thank You!!

    After you have have factored the numerator, you found x-4 as factor.

    So try dividing that into the denominator.

    However it is easier to just apply l'hopital's rule immediately. Note top and bottom eval to zero at 4, so

    limit will equal limit after replacing numerator and denominator by their derivatives.
