How can I transfer my achievement points from a deleted Xbox profile to another, new profile?

I set up XBox Live for the first time recently, and in doing so created a new profile on my XBox (I don't know why it didn;t offer to use the one I already had..) Because itwas getting annoying signing in and out of profiles when I went from single player and signed onto the Live account, I deleted my original profile - it wasn't set up with Live anyway, and didn't serve a purpose - except for all the achievements and the associated points, and game saves etc..

How can I get all those achievements and game saves to show up on the newly created profile.

Its the same XBox, the same games, and its still me - I just cannot figure it out!

    Sorry but now there is no way to recover all your achievement points. Your going to have to start fresh. Im guessing you click create Xbox live account and not Upgrade to Xbox Live and that's why it didn't give you the option.

    You could have made it an xbox live account instead of deleting it. but there is no way transfer achievement points.

    You can't. Saves, achievements and settings are all locked to an individual profile and can not be moved from one gamertag to another.
