That's pretty high for a job. You must be on the trial work period. I wouldn't worry about republicans, they have plenty of tax cheats to keep them from commenting

I am a Republican. I worked at Social Services and a Disability Examiner. I think most people, regardless of what side they are on feel that we should help those in need. It is difficult for you, as you have an "hidden" illness. If you go off meds or need a change, then that can throw you off and is not an easy condition to "control." What I had a hard time with were those with pain, but for no reasons. The media is making it sound like the Right does not want health care reform, but not true. The last few years, health care has hit a 911 need, but what was pushed through is not all good, as if it was, there would not have been so much pork added on. Please note, if anyone does not feel you are good enough for this world, poop on them and live the best life you can.

I'm not a Republican but I am more Conservative on most issues than Republicans.

You have a serious disability and I applaud you working and will oppose any effort that prevents you from working as much as you can. The goal of disability should be to help people find a niche where they can work and can support themselves fully or in part. If not there's that safety net because you are truly disabled and unable to work most jobs or lead a normal life. So you need that help. If not for disability you'd likely be homeless and unable to obtain your meds much less take them. Schizophrenia is a very serious and debilitating condition.

If you are truly disabled, and you paid into the system then I have no problem with you collecting SSI. The second job doesn't bother me either as long as you are reporting the income.

Anybody who didn't pay into the system, or at least an immediate family member, should be able to collect SSI.

You're fine. My mother has schizophrenia and people made her feel awful because she couldn't work and had to live off of SSI. Don't let them get to you. You're a strong person and you're doing more than most can in your shoes! Be proud of that!

Well, considering THIS is your argument, and you are a generalizing moron, I must say WAKE UP.

We are complaining about the lazy bastards who whine for more weeks of unemployment, and then waste their last dollars on a Commie protest demanding jobs.

    That is just bullsh!t.

Good for you for actually working, we are against the lazy bastards that don't and reap the benefits of everyone else/

Actually research the debate, why don't you.

I have no problem with you working part time while you collect SS. You need to supplement your income and if you are capable, there's no shame in it at all.

Sure just die on the streets. Now where did I put that cross. Never can find one when there is a martyr that needs it.

dems would love it if you'd just die,,but sadly, we are stuck w.you...and repubs have nothing to do w. it--dems have had majority for 5 yrs.

Frankly, you can do whatever you want--it's still almost a free country--die if you like- or live..your choice.
