When is the best time to apply for a job?

This might be a weird question, but I'm just wondering...

I'm currently on the hunt for either a full-time job or another part-time position. Since today is Saturday, a lot of businesses don't usually operate (offices and such) Knowing that most places do business during the week , should I wait until after the weekend to send in a resume/cover letter?

I guess what I'm asking is: What time frame would give me the best chance of my resume and cover being seen by a recruiter or hiring manager? Or does is not matter?

My advice is to send out a CV (resume) whenever you can! Many people might be having the same idea as you, they might wait until Monday to send their things in then the businesses will get bombarded with job applications. If you apply now yours has a chance of getting there first, so you'll get more attention.

I work for a company called ChaCha, people text random questions, it comes to your computer and you get paid per question you answer. You can answer as many or as little as you want and work anytime 24/7. BUT it will not make you rich, I make enough to pay my rent every month so it's better than nothing. It's really easy and kinda funny to see the weird questions people ask.

I think right now they are only hiring people who are referred by current employees so apply at http://becomeaguide.chacha.com/ and enter crystalmurray86@yahoo.com in the referral box.

Anytime. Apply for a job when you see it.

It's better to have lots of choices than none at all.
