Recommend good romance anime... or just anime?
I would like some good romance anime that's mature, but not gross, if you know what I mean.
For example: Fruits Basket borders on the cheesy side, while Paradise Kiss borders on the gross side. Not a big fan of ecchi. I don't care if it's shounen or shoujo. I don't care if the story isn't mainly about romance. Here's some stuff I've already seen (some of which I'm not a big fan of, so don't recommend similar titles)-
Kare Kano
Ayashi no Ceres
Vampire Knight
Maid-Sama (the kind of anime I like)
Ah My Goddess
Honey Clover (made me angry)
Kimi ni Todoke (awwwww)
Ouran Host Club (lololol)
and a bunch others I can't think about
If you just wanna' recommend anime you're dying to recommend that doesn't have a lot of romance, go ahead. (I LOVE TRIGUN, SAMURAI CHAMPLOO, hehehehe)

i put a double asterisks next to the ones that are my favorites so you should check those out first but i think you should definitely check out "special a" first since it seems like a type of anime that you'd really like since you like maid-sama and kimi ni todoke.
