Ideas for a 2 year old girl's Birthday Party?
My daughter is turning two at the end of September. I need party ideas but I have some hoops to jump through. Can't be too pricey but we can spend if it's worth it. I don't want to have a party at my house. I'd like to do something where I can envite alot of people and if they do or do not show up it won't effect things much. I thought we could rent a place at the park but a cousin just did that and I don't want to compete. Ideas?
Ok guys, I said no parks and no home parties. Try again

We just had our daughter's party at community centre. I had to hunt around a bit to find the right centre but the one we chose was spacious and clean and the room rental was very cheap. Outside it even had a playground, play house and gardens for the kids to play in. I loved the community centre because we could do everything ourselves so it was just like having a home party without actually having it at our place.
Last year we had her party at a community farm. The one we went to we just had to pay for everyone's entry fee and we got the room for free so it also worked out to be quite cheap. There was plenty to keep the kids interested and the grown-ups enjoyed it too.

Hi there
Try this web site, its still under construction I think on some pages but there are some great ideas for younger children and simple ideas for nice invitations, decoration and games to help theme the party.
There's Teddy's Tea Parties, Fairy princess, Disney Princess, Circus & Carnival parties and Pirate Parties. There's some great ideas for decorations that are simple and not expensive to do.
The site is www.creative-kids-partys.com
Good luck with the party.

My daughter just turned 1(yay!) and I threw a huge tinkerbell party. We have a bounce house which the kids absolutely loved especially my daughter! we also had a small ball pit which wasnt a huge hit but it was cute. The best part: My husband dressed up as Peter Pan and my brother-in-law dressed like Captian Hook and my daughter was of course tinkerbell(costume from walmart)! it was so cute they brought out the cake and cupcakes and every1 loved it, well my daughter was kinda scared of captian hook but we all loved daddy in tights haha. I hope this helps... oh and the bounce house wasnt too expensive it was $150 for a normal bounce house and $175 for the one with the slide, not too bad and the peter pan costume was $30 and my brother-in-law already had a pirate costume. oh and the favors I got at the dollar store they had tons of tinkerbell stuff I went crazy! spent like $60 on dollar stuff haha

I always like to give out a variety of inexpensive things. For example, hot dogs, nachos, frito pies, pickles and maybe even pizza. I just go buy everything in bulk. For the goodie bags try cool pencils, sharpeners, bracelets for the girls and tops for the boys. I personally do not like to give out too much candy. There are some wonderful websites where you could get real great deals.

hello kitty! you don't have to rent a place, just pick a nice open area of a park and take a grill. if you don't wanna go the hot dog route, just buy frozen chicken and teriyaki sauce and pineapples. just thaw the chicken and throw it in ziploc bags with the teriyaki sauce and pineapples like a day before. then you grill them. buy instant white rice and make that and put it in one of those huge metal-looking pans. you can make or buy a salad and take some dressings. buy waters, capri suns, sodas, whatever you like. as for a cake, you can buy a plain cake at walmart and buy some hello kitty toys (or whatever character your child likes) and put them on the cake. also buy a pinata! those are guaranteed fun.

Just do a theme party her favorite cartoon or something. She is only two you don't need to throw a ball. do something cute if you have a big backyard set up some things for kids.

bake some cupcakes, let her choose the frosting color, have your camera ready, and enjoy a stress free day!
