    I rated them /10:

Carter- on the rise, can store consistently 9/10

Ryan- also on the rise, extraordinary play maker 8/10

Clowe- inconsistent, can be cold and can be hot 6/10

Keith- brilliant two-way defenseman, dominant going both ways 9.5/10

Booth- another inconsistent but can score when it counts, provides a little more than Clowe 7.5/10

Tavares- Future of the Isles, lets hope he doesnt get destroyed (career-wise).. You never know what can happen, but based on just one season: 7.5/10

    Blue: 23/30

    Red: 23.5/30---> Winner! :D

Red team wins because they not only get good offense, they get a franchise defensemen as well. Tavares may be better than everyone on blue team and David Booth can score at least 30 goals as well. Keith just won the norris trophy and so red team wins this trade for sure.

    Present- Blue Team

    Future- Red team

    Red Team definately

all 3 are young promising players destined to be (if not already) the core player of their team

jeff carter isnt old, but hes aging, ryan clowes prime seems to only exist in the last offseason and i do have nothing to say bad about bobby ryan to be honest (beyond the fact he is a picky RFA)

In Duncan Keith you have one of the best (if not THE) best D man in the league, in Booth (my favorite player) you have a very fast sniper (reminds me of a mini american pavel bure, even has the same number) and with John Tavares you have a future all star who led his (awful) team in points in his rookie season and is waiting to break out, often compared to sidney crosby in terms of skill

BTW i think tavares has some of the best hands in the NHL and hes not even a sophomore yet

I will admit that david booth will have some post concussion syndromes though, but that would NOT affect my decision on this trade

Source(s): BTW red team would get a YOUNG core off this trade, and a very good one at that

Right now: Blue Team gets the edge. In five years, Red Team gets the ed

    Blue Team for sure,

Duncan Keith is a Norris Trophy Winner he is an excellent D-Man, John Tavares has yet to prove himself in the league has potential but showed little to me IMO last year, and David Booth can get 30 goals but he can't keep his head up and has reoccurring concussions.

Jeff Carter was a 40 goal scorer and can easily get 40 goals again, Bobby Ryan is a 30+ goal scorer has the potential to get 40, possibly 50 and unlike Booth he can keep his head up when he's skating, and as for Ryan Clowe he is a nice complimentary player who can pass the puck well and and get you goals on certain occasions.

Depends. In real life, blue team wins. In NHL10, red team wins.

If you're looking ahead at all, the Red Team by far.
