You're in the toughest phase right now ... where you worry about it because of all the years of being "scared" of the scary fire and brimstone place ... "Believe in me or I will kill you forever!"

Once you make it through that cloud, the air is MUCH fresher and cleaner in the REAL world (atheist). Take a course in biological anthropology and open your eyes even further ... you will be certain then.

You don't "convert" to something that isn't a religion. Once you realize you don't believe in any gods anymore, you're an atheist. And if when that happens you are afraid of a god being mad at you, then guess what, you were mistaken about not believing in one.

    A) You do not convert to atheism.... you become atheist.

    B) If you disbelieve in god you will not be worried about this fictional character getting mad.

Well, you DO have one strike against you. Atheists have no belief in the existence of any gods.

well i fell that if you believe in God and decide to purposefully ignore Him, that probably isn't good, but if you don't know Him, or are agnostic, then I think it's a totally different subject.

If he were all knowing he'd already have known. And if he were all-loving, he wouldn't care.

    No, because god doesn't exist.
