Why does the media assume we don't want to see gore/graphic images?
I understand protecting children. However I support publishing uncensored/raw footage or at least making it available for viewing for educational purposes. And to ensure important details aren't left out.
1 AnswerMedia & Journalism2 years agofive broken condoms in 24 hours?
What is this bullsh!t? They keep breaking and it's annoying. They're Trojan Ultra-Thin's. Which could be the case, but I've never had this issue before. I've used the same ones in the past with no problems. Tried several different versions of them and never had any complaints until now. Am I doing something wrong? I don't think so. I'm not even doing anything to really provoke it. Just a sudden snap on my weiner. I replace it. Same thing a couple minutes later.
7 AnswersMen's Health9 years agoCan U.S. soldiers bring home war loot?
Nothing like a functional weapons or anything, but just "stuff" from overseas.
11 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoCan U.S. soldiers bring home war loot?
I'm not talking about functional weapons or anything, but maybe an accessory to a foreign gun...like a magazine or something. or maybe a piece of a Ak that has been destroyed. Or the inert casing of a land mine. Really just "stuff" that is in conjunction with local and federal laws back home. Can they, or no?
2 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoWhy do the old shelby cobra's look different from other mustangs of that era(1960's)?
At a glance, they could have almost been marketed as different cars. Why does the cobra have the "mustang" title?
3 AnswersFord1 decade agoTom Brady as a God..?
I have a friend who LITERALLY worships #12 as a god. Like he changed the Our Father to things like, "Our father, who art in New England, hallowed be thy name. Thy superbowl come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in New England...etc." I personally think this is like sticking a middle finger at the man upstairs to you religious folk. If not that, is this good for spiritual health? Also, we were debating teams and I said, "Tom can suck on my jewels". His response was, "Dude chill, I dont go around saying that about god or jesus." What's your opinion on this?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agowas my friend honestly raped by a broomstick?
ok so me and a friend got in an argument...over the phone..and he claims to have been man-handled by a woman to the point where he was taken by a broom handle. At first he didnt tell me...he just said he got laid, but like several months later he said it was something this girl required in order to grant access to other stuff. He said this occurred in a broom closet when her and him snuck out of wedding. I swear I thought he was joking, but his voice sounds ******* serious when we talk about it, and i think its been a couple years since then. Please tell me he was joking...or if there are any tell-tale signs he's being legit. please..I just want to know, cause I dont want to joke if its a serious matter...cause it does happen
1 AnswerFriends1 decade agoGoing active duty from reserves: How difficult?
I was thinking of enlisting in the army reserve while attending college. Once I finish school, I would then transfer to active duty. Now, exactly how difficult is this? Will the reserves try to keep me a reservist? What are the chances there will be open slots for active several years from now?.I have heard mixed opinions on this. I do not want to be weekend warrior my entire career.
3 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoWhat brand AR15's have barrels with "HBAR" inscribed on them?
I know colt and bushmaster do. Maybe the better question is, who doesn't have HBAR written on their barrels?
...and I'm assuming that NOT all 20" M16A2 type-barrels count as HBAR's, as far as legal terms

1 AnswerOther - Outdoor Recreation1 decade agoIs there an optimal angle for shooting projectiles as far as possible?
Consider a cannon firing something into the air. If the objective was to launch the shot as far as possible, what angle would the bore have to be in relation to the ground? If all factors were constant, is there a specific angle for max distance? One that is not too dramatic nor too shallow, to get the projectile as far from it's starting position as possible?

15 AnswersMilitary1 decade agowhy are U.S. air-launched cruise missiles so limited?...so obsolete?
Why are our premier air-launched cruise missiles, notably the AGM-86 and AGM-129 only carried by the aging B-52? That aircraft exclusively. Why not have a missile more versatile, also being able to be carried on platforms such as the B-1 and B-2? ...also, why does it seem we aren't pursuing low-observable technologies?...are these designs unreliable?...too expensive to maintain?(appears govt. is stepping away from the agm-158 and 129) and why do we still have yet to invent a long-range missile capable of super-sonic speed? ...can anyone fill me in
4 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoMaryland regulation on assault rifle parts kits?
Can someone under 21 legally own an incomplete regulated firearm in Md, minus the receiver (barrel, bolt carrier, handguard, pistol grip etc.) Say, unassembled parts to an AR15 or Ak47...and can the same person legally buy/sell/transfer 'parts' and/or 'parks kits' with the exception of the receiver?.. if so, is the receiver the only part that requires an FFL?
3 AnswersHunting1 decade agomos 18x and learning a 2nd language?
I've been seriously considering and preparing for the rigors of Army Special Forces. Question is, learning a language. I am aware that at later stages in the training pipeline, aside from the physical torture, eventually you will need to become proficient in another language. That is, something other than English (not any language, but one they accept) . Was wondering how they determine who learns what. Do you pick your language?..or do they base it off your DLAB scores, or what? ...was wondering how they fill slots for the more difficult tongues like Arabic and Korean (because if I got to pick, I'd go with Spanish..as I'm sure most would... because I already have a foundation in that and it's relatively similar to English compared to others). Can anyone clarify this for me?

8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHow to avoiding bulk-muscle buildup?
I routinely do high repetition exercises like pushups, situps, pullups....and I just want to be able to do like 100 pushups at once, or 20 pullups at once....without the bulk that I'm packing on. I'm concerned that while running or swimming....that this bulk is going to slow me down....or it's going to give me a poor weight-to-strength ratio.

2 AnswersHunting1 decade agoIs it illegal to openly plot against the government?
sometimes when I'm bored I think of hypothetical assassinations or terrorist attacks...and how they could be conducted...and how an individual would carry it out. Not that I intend on being a terrorist... in fact I plan to do something "counter-these activities"...but I heard somewhere that in order to stop a someone like that, you gotta think like someone like that. Just want to know before I end up saying something stupid in a text message, email, or conversation... phone, or in-person. ....and it being taken the wrong way
