No less moral than it is for modern woman to hit their husband over the head with a rolling pin.

No it's wrong to hit people over the head & have your way with them, even as a joke.

The axiom on which morality rest is this: "If the actions that I inflict upon another were committed to me, what would be my experience?"

It's basically what all religions get around to telling you in the end, Just don't do things to others that you would not want them doing to you. That's morality in a nutshell. It's like two kids fighting trying to see who is more dominant instead of allowing each other to be regarded as equal.

Cavemen or neanderthals are not actually humans like you or I anyway. They're species went extinct thousands of years ago and the hominids you know today as humans did not evolve from them so your question really is lacking in realistic facts.

Morals come from genetics and behaviors worked out by God (Mother Nature) as appropriate for our species, and are built-in if we trust God. (Or LadyLord, which I prefer).

So we don't need Bibles. That is a redundant corruption of God's will. The Bible is as big a myth as that insulting idea you have about cavemen dragging and raping women , which might be a male fantasy, but was never the prevailing rule. Don't get your historical knowledge from cartoons. :-)

Men went hunting, and brought home the meat, which women much appreciated because their menstrual cycle loses blood (iron) ; so we traded our hunted meat for their bodily meat. It's still that way, even today.

Morality CAN exist without Religion. Every Human being has the Mind to know the difference between Good and Bad. You don't need religion to Learn morality, Gosh you are really dumb and why do you target Atheists in all of your questions. Christian Fanatics have been killing innocent people for many years is this considered moral, they killed many innocent people and here is the proof http://www.jesusneverexisted.com/1000years.htm

No more than slavery was acceptable in biblical times. Early humans had to fight for survival so their morals were very different from today's when food and resources are easier to get.

We can not judge early human by our standards today. Today it is utterly immoral to do so. Back then morals meant survival. Also many early humans would not have beaten mates over the head for no reason.

Olga, can you show where morals come from the bible??? Is it moral to beat and kill people by stoning them or does the bible make stoning moral??? Is it moral to exterminate all men, women, and chidren of a race or does the bible also make that moral??? Morals are made up from doctrines of men and demons!!!

Your scenario is actually the Biblical description of morality to the letter.

"When you go out to war against your enemies and the LORD, your God, delivers them into your hand, so that you take captives, if you see a comely woman among the captives and become so enamored of her that you wish to have her as wife, you may take her home to your house.

    Deu 21:10

Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves.

    Numbers 31:16

It's a good thing Christians have us atheists to set a good example of morality for them.

Firstly, that idea of cave men comes from a cartoon from years ago. It has no factual truth to it so your wrong there.

Secondly if the world is 2,000 or however thousand of years old like your bible says that would mean cave men wouldn't have existed so your point is empty and a waste of yahoo points.

what evidence do you have of that?

did cavemen have mammoth showers and pterodactyl can openers?

    Romans 2

14For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

15Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

At the time it was probably moral, it depends what their society thought at the time. In our modern way of thinking of course it isn't moral.
