7 weeks 3 days pregnant but....?
I had an ultrasound last week and the baby measured 6 weeks 1 day putting my EDD at 4/18/11. I had my first prenatal check-up yesterday and my midwife said my uterus feels like 6 weeks. We did see and hear the little heart beat last week. It only has a little 2 chambered heart but we saw and heard it. So neat they can see it this early. My midwife scheduled another ultrasound in 2 weeks, to confirm the EDD. I am worried something happened. But I read somewhere that when you see the heart beat that greatly reduces the chances of a M/C. Anyone that help me put my mind at ease is greatly appreciated. By the way this is my second pregnancy and it is WAY different from the first! With my son I measured perfectly the entire time!

I am on my 3rd pregnancy and have yet to measure what they claim my due date is. My youngest is not even 2 yet and I nursed her until January this year, got one period and then was pregnant in February. I was not getting periods until I weaned her so I honestly have no idea when we actually got preggo!
They did an ultrasound and told me I was 8 weeks. Then at the next ultrasound I should have been 12 weeks, but they said I was 11 weeks. Then at my 20 week ultrasound (I actually went when I was 21 weeks and 1 day) they said I was 22 weeks. I went for my 28 week appt. a couple weeks ago and was told I measured 32 weeks...hmmm...can't seem to get it right! LOL!!
I see 3 different doctors and a midwife in my practice and they all measure differently...so I wouldn't stress too much! If you are not having cramping or any bleeding, I am sure you will be just fine! I know it is easier said than done to relax and not worry about it...been there 3 times! Until you can feel that reassuring movement everyday you worry that there must be SOMETHING...ANYTHING wrong and somehow convince yourself to worry and worry more!
2 weeks can go by fast...good luck!!

hi
i dont mean to scare or upset you although i had a miscarriage in Sept and seen the heart beat at 6 weeks and lost the little baby at 8 weeks.
If your not bleeding and your not in pain dont panic, just relax and stay calm.
The next two weeks will fly in and you will have your mind put at rest for you.
congrats and i wish you all the best.
Good luck x
