Nope, they are mostly lawyers and they just go back to ripping people off.

Anyone that is good enough a schmoozing to get elected to congress can weasel their way into some way to make money. It doesn't really matter how crooked they are, as long as their not a convicted felon. And even some of those end up doing alright for themselves. Someone like Mark Foley might be considered too toxic to go into business with. But short of murder, rape, or pedophilia, someone will see a way to make a buck off of them.

Because their vote was for sale and bought, I'm sure you'll see a few of them hanging around the white house collecting a check somewhere in Obama's ocean-deep administration. The rest leave with their pockets full.

They got money. They aren't worried about lazing around with our tax dollars. While people like you and me will spend months to a year or perhaps a year and a half looking for a job.

The ones i my state have their own successful law firms that they will go back to if they don't become lobbyists.
