Muslims, what evidence do you have to support your position?
Unacceptable answers include:
Because our holy book says so
Because all other religions are false
Because I am in the true religion
Please SUPPORT your stance!

The Universe
Time and Space: Most people read the very first verse in the Bible, without giving it another though. However a closer examination of this verse reveals that the author of Genesis verbalized exactly the same sophisticated principle that scientists would use thousands of years later. Science expresses the universe in five terms: time, space, matter, power and motion. So does Genesis 1.
"In the beginning (time) God created (power) the Heaven (space) and the Earth (matter)... And the Spirit of God moved (motion) upon the face of the waters." [Genesis 1:1,3 … written some 3450 years ago].
The Beginning: The word "beginning" refers specifically to the beginning of time. However for many years scientists were convinced that the universe was infinite (without end), and that time had always existed. The COsmic Background Explorer (COBE), also referred to as Explorer 66, was a NASA space mission designed to test the Big Bang theory of the origin of the universe and apparently provided evidence that supported the idea that the universe had a beginning..
Note: The Big Bang theory, initially proposed in 1946 by George Gamow, a Russian-born scientist who believed that a primeval fireball, or an intense concentration of pure energy at some finite time in the past was the source of all the matter that now exists in the universe.
I wonder how many billions of dollars Explorer 66 cost. Yet someone only had to open the first page of a $10.00 Bible to know the universe had a beginning, before which there was …

None of the other religions so far could ever convince me that it was the right path to follow. Ever since I embraced Islam as my religion, I have become more knowledgeable in understanding the things around me. I could see the future clearer than before. It is an intriguing feeling to know the truth about Islam.
What else do you need to have a proper guidance on what to do in life? Either good or bad, Islam has given me some solutions to deal with it amicably. Every time I pray, I could feel the presence of God, when the knowledge in Islam has meticulously described to help me understand what God is all about.
We need a religion which could teach us what this life and God is all about and how to communicate with Him effectively. Over the years, I have become attached to this understanding of Islam and I fell fortunate to embraced it. Islam teaches us everything from a simple detail of misunderstanding, to huge major problem of this universe.

They've got exactly the same amount as Christianity, darling...bupkes.
Without those answers, like Christians, they'll have to fall back on "I just feel it," which is nothing at all.
Sigh. The people who are saying "well, what is your stance" appear to miss the whole point of the Q&A format. You've asked a question - turning it back on you is not an answer.
Sad.

Muslims claim that the Koran is sientifically correct. Well, that is because they only accept scientific discoveries that agree with the Koran. For example, Muslims do not believe in Darwin's theory, because they believe in creation. The Quran also has alot of scientific and historical inaccuracies, but most Muslims live in under-developed countries and often most of their science is derived from the Koran. For example, Ancients are believed to have been taller than us, while science says that we are the ones who are taller. On the other hand, the Koran says that Zoroastrians worship fire, when in fact, fire is just a symbol of knowledge in Zoroastrianism, their god is Ahura Mazda (Muhammad didn't seem to have much knowledge in things outside the Arabian peninsula), also the Koran says that Jews worship Ezra as the son of God (when in fact Ezra is just a side character compared to Moses, and he is just a prophet in Judaism... Muhammad just threw that idea up thinking that Jews and Christians are the same). Islam also claims that it is the only surviving monotheistic religion, when in fact, it is not.

my question to you is, what is YOUR stance?
i know whatever your stance is, you are going to firmly stand by it and..
whatever answer i will give you will be used against me for the sole reason that i do not side with your stance.
anyways.
it's a matter of paradigm.
when you support something, you find reasons to believe in it....
when you don't believe in something, you find reasons not to support it.
so everybody wins anyway.
i can answer your question but i doubt you will read the long answer that i would have given you.
so why waste my resources.
cheers!

My answer :"Because our holy book proves so"
The wise teachings of the Qur'an is the only reason and enough reason for me to become a Muslim.

I'm not religious, but I see questions similar to this every day on here, and it's a tired argument. Religious beliefs are just that...beliefs. They're not based on logic or rationale or documented evidence because that would defeat the purpose. People complain all the time about not wanting religion pushed down their throats, and I agree with that completely... because religion and beliefs are personal choices. The problem with theists and atheists alike is that we all seem to feel a need to make people agree with us.
