Neutered dog with balls?

So when my dog is happy he rolls over, showing his stomach and his doggy penis is doing it's doggy thing. While it is, it looks like he grows a pair when he is happy. Am I crazy? It was my understanding those get taken away when they are neutered. My pup is 6mos. old, & German Shepherd/Rottweiler mixed.

Update:

Lol Koko, who said anything about shoving them in? Thanks anyway tho.

Simple enough answer, thanks everyone.

Not crazy just not educated on dog anatomy. Those aren't his testicles its just part of his penis. Look up Bulbis glandis.

Thats normal he does not still have balls.

Those are called the bulbis glandis which is usually used when a dog is mating to tie with the female, so in turn they are always there and can pop up when the dog is excited

Yup not to worry my Basset Hound gets that too when he stretches out and is erect..just part of the male dog anatomy!

It's bulbus glandis not bulbis glandis.

I thought when they get neutered they vut into the sack and just take out the part that makes the sperm. I'm pretty sure they still have the actual sack. My boyfriend has two neutered dogs and they rather like licking in that area.

Thats funny.. same thing happens to my dog e.e' But I don't think they would shove them in, because the whole purpose is to get rid of them..
