I just saw this news report on yahoo.

And was struck by how wrong it is?

A tail? Really yahoo? You do know the difference between a monkey and an ape don't you? Also on a side note, wouldn't I be right in saying that chimps do actually converse, albeit using a much smaller vocabulary than our own?

@ Jonny Red, I do understand what your saying, I guess I just assumed a company like yahoo might try a little harder to avoid such blatantly ridiculous mistakes.

Yahoo has made a monkey of itself - people have the remnants of tails - and monkeys CAN talk - not with a larynx though:

Hazard of using the net. Often 'news' is reported by journalists who have no specialism in a subject and seem to either go with the flow, or just make it up.
Also on open sites, anyone can write on any topic they wish whether it's correct or not. Look at some of the garbage that is creeping into Wiki

Yes you're right. This kind of ill researched poorly written stuff is everywhere.
